Vitamins for "Big" kids
« on: March 19, 2007, 04:43:10 AM »
My 13yr 210 lb DS takes the same vitamin as his 35lb 4yr brother.
The 13yr is abt 5'10 is solid like a football player, healthy and semi active (will be very active when school is over and the weather gets nice).

Should I start giving him the same vitamin his father takes?
Which is a men's multiple.

my oldest son is 6 so i'm not there yet. but when i turned 13 my dad bought me women's vitamins. all the backs of our children's supplements say 2-12 years of 5-12 years...12 years is the cap on it all. then i think they need more. especially in your son's situation. he sounds like a healthy soon to be man and could probably use that extra boost.
(IMO only...really it's up to your pediatrician)
