Ratio For Herbal Mixes
« on: April 14, 2013, 08:32:14 AM »
I would like to know how to find the proper ratio of herbs for medicinal mixes. For example, I'd like to make my own Schreiner's Herbal Solution to save money. The ingredient list says: Aloe Vera, Myrrh, Goldenseal, Comfrey, Cayenne, and Elder in a light Isopropyl Alcohol base. How much of each ingredient would I use for the right ratio? Or does it matter?

It does matter. That is the art of herbalism.  :D There is no easy chart, but if you study each herb you can get a feel for what might work. Try it out. If it doesn't work as you expect, then try again.
