Bruising easily
« on: April 18, 2013, 08:38:03 AM »
I'm sorry if this is already addressed but I couldn't find it, and I also feel like this is a dumb question that I should know the answer to....anyway...what causes you to bruise easily? It seems like everytime I look at myself, I see a new bruise. I don't ever remember banging against anything, they all seem to be around the same size, and they are mostly on my thighs, tho they are in other places too. I googled it, but everything said it was common as you age...well I'm 26, so I don't think that is my problem.  ??? TIA

I usually bruise due to not enough vitamin C or K.  But I looked and found a couple of sites that verify this.

Bruising easily

bruising caused by vitamin deficiency

These are both inexpensive and you should see results fairly quickly.

hope that helps!
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;    Titus 2:13

It might be a good idea to check your platelet count to check their level, if you continue to get unexplained bruising, especially on the arms or legs.
