Finger Infection, possiblly from pulling cuticals
« on: October 05, 2012, 01:17:52 AM »
Hi There...wondering if you could advise on this.  We have a young one (4yo) that "needed" antibiotics for an infection in the finger.  It seemed rather minor, but our normal treatment of colloidal silver and applecider finger dipping did not seem to help, and the infection kept escalating.  During the taking of antibiotics, we have had her drinking a probiotic yogurt.  Would you have any suggestions that may have kept us from "needing" the antibiotics, and do you have any suggestions regarding probiotics that we should consider beyond the yogurt?

Thanks so much.

I've had a lot of problems with my fingers/cuticles/fingernails, and it turned out to be caused by something in our tap water.  I got a shower filter (from WaterWise) and started wearing rubber gloves in the kitchen, and my skin and nails have healed up so beautifully.  They used to be all torn up, sometimes with infection.
