Help with knee pain
« on: May 29, 2012, 03:08:40 AM »
I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on knee pain.  I think I have sprained my LCL based on symptoms and where the pain is ect... Anyway, I don't have the money to go to the doctor, so I was wondering if anyone knew of any herbs or specific foods or anything that would speed the healing?  It has been hurt for about a month now, and each time I think it is almost well, I step down funny or something and the pain comes back.  I was thinking of doing a cleanse, but wasn't sure how to go about any of it, because I am new to this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Comfrey leaf tea and a comfrey root poultice several times a day. Add nettle to you tea because it has so many minerals.

I have had lots of problems with knee pain.  Torn meniscus in each knee.  One thing that helps me is specific knee exercises the physical therapy gave me.
Leg lifts, sit on chair raising leg with knee bent, etc.  Helps after a few days since the muscle is stronger around the knee.
