Fever and sore throat in child
« on: July 06, 2011, 03:44:50 AM »
My sister-in-law next door had strep throat last weekend. So I'm wondering if my 3 year has it now. They weren't together very much. But he woke up last night with a fever and sore throat. Could it be strep? And what should I do for it? He acts fine this morning. But he still has a fever of probably 101.

How's your child? Feeling any better?
I found this link, it might be helpful:

GOOT would probably be good if you're able to make some:

And as always, probiotics are a great thing to give kids all the time, but especially when they are sick. I just open up a capsule and put it in my kid's water, yogurt, applesauce, whatever you want since it's tasteless.
The book "How to Raise a Healthy Child in Spite of Your Doctor" by Robert Mendelsohn is excellent!
 I hope he's feeling better  :)
