Sauna: Brand Comparisons, Types & Styles
« on: March 10, 2010, 01:59:16 PM »
I saw Patti was trying to figure out how to steam her husband.  :D

We got a generic portable steam sauna approximately 3 yrs. ago. Dh uses it several times a week during the cool times of year when his work is not making him sweat naturally. He loves it and has even prevented illness, especially viral illnesses from developing. Good for detox as well. All of that is really for another thread...

I'm not certain that this is the site we ordered from, but the generic product at the bottom of the page is what we have. There are, of course, nicer saunas, but this has done the job. For $104 that's not bad.
Our steam pot just cracked after being dropped.  ::)
When it was new we had to let it off gas outside, but after a few weeks it didn't give off vinyl smell even when warmed.
