Tingling tongue...
« on: March 09, 2010, 11:30:35 AM »
Ok so I'm hoping someone has a few ideas for me. I've had "tingling" tongue for the last few days. I'm about 6 days late for my period w/ 2 negative pregnancy tests. My tongue has a tingling/sorta numb like I ate something too hot feel to it for about 3 or 4 days now. I also just found something that appears like a very mild case of ringworm on my stomach about 3 days ago. Its not very scary looking. just one circle with red ring (small) and yellowish center, not pussy or blistery or anything...I'm trying to figure out if this is all related or what? I've also had a vaginal yeast infection that I can't seem to get rid of despite several different OTC creams and natural methods. Just irratation, no discharge, but the irritation comes and goes and normally isn't too bad, a few days I'm fine, than one day it bugs me, etc etc. I did have swab done so I KNOW that that is yeast. Not sure about the rest of this craziness. I've also had this yeast infection on and off for 2 years and my periods have pretty much been on the dot (and I took only 29 days in Feb into consideration ;)) I'm sure the first suggestion will be a yeast cleanse, which might be in order, but I guess I'm curious if there might be something else causing my tingling tongue??? or if yeast even causes that?? it doesn't hurt me...just feels like I slathered oragel on it or something. :) No medications, no BC pills, no antibiotics EVER. I did have a cold recently and took some Oreganol though and lots of ACV and fresh garlic. I also drink homemade yogurt from Bio-k daily and swallow acidophilus pills (tummy tune up/gr8dophilus) daily.

No dental work, no headaches, back or neck pain....that dental link though...that is EXACTLY what it feels like. I've had a root canal many years ago...and it feels just like that...like the novacane wearing off or something, but it hasnt' completely left! I'm now looking into a vit b-12 deficiancy...

Wondering if a deficiency is also one reason why my yeast infection is hanging on...

b12 deficiency can come from damage to intrinsic factor caused by taking antacid medications over a long period of time.
