I cannot believe I have lived the first 33 years of my life without ever trying millet - it is DELICIOUS!!! Maybe next week I'll try something with amaranth - has anyone ever cooked with this before? I think I'm being stretched (in a good way) to learn how to be more creative in my cooking. For example, I never knew how versatile flaxseed is: I used to only put it on top of my hot cereal, but now I'm using it in almost everything I make. Today I woke up with huge lymph nodes and a really sore throat and couldn't really talk much for the first half of the day. I'm sure it's related in part at least to the fact that I didn't get to bed until about 2 last night

and it seems like I've got a ton more to do tonight before I hit the sack, so hopefully tomorrow won't be worse

Also, my MER was much better today than yesterday. I think it may be related to stress
Sassy- Just realized your question was about hair loss due to candida, not due to the cleanse... As far back as I can think, I've always felt I had a problem with hair loss. But that may just be due to the fact that I have fine, thin hair so it's really obvious. And then the lack of hair loss I'm experiencing now may be due to the fact that I'm taking horsetail supplements, which are high in silica, which helps hair growth. So who knows with me!

Elenita- Thanks so much for the spit test link. I know I have candida, but think I'll try it tomorrow just for fun

Rebecca - great job jumping right back into the cleanse after what sounds like a really yummy "cheat." And it sounds like you're doing a good job of altering the diet to address your family's needs. How are all your children doing with the cleanse?
Linemansgirl - Bravo for sticking with the cleanse with a house full of people! Sorry to hear why you have company this week

I'm happy to hear that no one is doing too horribly!
