I love to exercise in our local motel pool, but wonder if it is worth the clorine exposure.....Can I do anything to counteract the clorine exposure?

Chlorine kills all the natural flora both on the skin and inside the body.  If you must be exposed to it, play in the dirt A LOT.  ;D  Gardening and things of that nature and take lots of probiotics.   ;D

We've stopped going to the public pool on a regular basis to keep the chlorine levels to a minimum.  Is there a lake or a pond that would sub?  These would be chlorine free and full of natural dirt and flora.  ;D

  My favorite herb book!!

Slather yourself with olive oil before you get in the pool.  It will act as a barrier to help your body not absorb quite as much of the chlorine.   ;)

There's a whole thread on natural swimming pool upkeep. Here it is. http://welltellme.com/discuss/index.php?topic=865.60
