My DH is very concerned about atherosclerosis, heart disease, heart attacks . . . pretty much anything dealing w/ the heart.  His mom is always telling that all the men of DH's paternal grandfather's family died of heart attacks.

Well, the other day I came across pomegranate juice, but I'm not completely sure about the overall info for heart issues.  I did find the article linked below, but I would love to hear others experiences, knowledge, etc. on this topic.  Are there other things easier to obtain that are just as good or better for these issues??

Please share as you can.  Thank you!!

Hi LTRM,

I don't have any info on the pomegranate juice, but I do have some helpful links on heart issues:

What causes heart attacks?

What causes heart disease?

My dh and I found these incredibly informative.

Thanks, Jeni.  I'll start reading.   :)  Still, if anyone has info on the pomegranate or other helps for heart issues, namely atherosclerosis, it would be appreciated.   :)

    • wouldn't you like to know?
Could you please clarify what you hope to gain from this thread?  Do you want this topic to be for atherosclerosis and it's possible preventions/cures or for pomegranate juice and it's health benefits/qualities or for heart health in general.  To have the first two together in one topic will either narrow the topic significantly or make it too broad to index well.

If you'd like the topic to be for heart health in general, we already have a thread started for that purpose.
