Sewing patterns...
« on: February 18, 2008, 11:00:20 AM »
I found this site today and thought that it seemed pretty interesting...
http://www.wildginger.com/products/wildthings.htm
It allows you to make your own sewing patterns for accessory type items like hats, wraps and handbags...
You do have to download it to your computer, and there is an instruction manual that tells the directions for putting your pieces together...
I was mainly looking for a free newsboy pattern and they had it here....

Someone here on WTM once told me that they made nice skirts out of capri pants.  Someone gave me a really nice colored capri pair of pants that I would really like to make into a skirt.
Since I am a visual learner I would really like to see a picture of this.
Have you ever done this, I would really appreciate if you could assist me in this and a picture would be great.

I found this really cute and easy purse pattern online.  I made one last night for a graduation  present.  Had to share the pattern.

That's SO pretty!  I think I'll have to give it a try.
