small bumps

My son has small bumps under his arm.  I initially thought they were small warts.  They are starting to spread.  I tried banana peel but it's difficult because there are way too many and they're all spread out.  They don't itch or bother him.  Suggestions?

Are the bumps on the back of the arm?  Or are they in the arm pit?  Are they a different color than his skin?  How large of an area is affected?

I know that small bumps on the back of the upper arm are a sign of vitamin A deficiency.  A good quality cod liver oil daily is the best remedy.

Yes, a more detailed description of the bumps would be helpful.  Could possibly be keratosis pilaris.  Here's a thread.
